About the role

  • Act as bridge between sales support and field sales; drive sales growth through prospecting and lead nurturing
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with MLS customers and field sales team across allocated EMEA districts
  • Provide exceptional customer support including inquiry handling, complaint resolution, billing issues, and technical/quality problem ownership
  • Handle quoting processes, order and sales management for assigned accounts/districts
  • Actively manage pipeline and sample status using CRM tools (e.g. SFDC) for accurate forecasting and opportunity realization
  • Support territory expansion by collaborating with field sales to build new customer relationships
  • Prepare customer proposals, assist with price negotiations, and collect documentation for customer projects
  • Provide basic technical knowledge to customers and utilize company systems (Powerlink, MAPICS, MasterCONTROL)
  • Collaborate with technical specialists and manufacturing teams to deliver quality products
  • Engage in training, product promotions, and special projects
  • Track KPIs: Territory Attainment, Prospecting efforts, Samples, Validations, Opportunity realization; report opportunities won/lost and forecast accurately

Requirements

  • Minimum- BSc in Biology, Molecular Biology, or Life Sciences. Preferred: Masters in Biology, Molecular Biology or equivalent.
  • Fluent in 2+ main European languages to include English + French or Spanish as a minimum
  • 12+ months experience in sales, marketing, or customer service preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, and database software; Internet research skills required
  • MAPICS/INFOR/XA experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills; written and verbal in English + French/Spanish
  • Motivated self starter with ability to work on own initiative
  • Sales experience or proven track record in an inbound sales environment
  • CRM experience or familiarity with MAPICS, Powerlink, MasterCONTROL, SFDC
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive data and communications
  • Quick learner with a proactive attitude; ability to multi-task
  • Good analytical and quantitative skills; proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Outstanding customer service skills; ability to work effectively with other departments
  • Process improvement-driven, customer-focused, goal-oriented
  • Energetic self-starter; strong team player
  • Travel: Less than 5%
