About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography examinations
  • Review patient medical history and supporting clinical information
  • Use proper patient positioning tools and ergonomic scanning techniques
  • Apply independent judgment during the sonography examination
  • Review examination images to meet QA standards and provide preliminary reports
  • Assist radiologist and/or other providers with procedures
  • Assist with the education and training of sonography students and physician residents

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Minimum One (1) to Three (3) years of experience preferred
  • ARDMS or ARRT sonography registered or registry eligible
  • Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
