About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitors quantity and quality of work performed.
- Interviews, trains, supervises and evaluates employees.
- Maintains equipment and supplies for departments.
- Revises, develops, and implements policies, procedures and performance standards.
- Manages departmentalized expenses involving staff and materials.
- Follows policies and procedures; adapts to and manages changes in the environment; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness giving attention to details; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; manages time and prioritizes effectively to achieve organizational goals.
- Responds promptly to requests for service and assistance; follows the Mercyhealth Critical Moments of service; meets commitments; abides by MH confidentiality and security agreement; shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; and effectively communicates information to partners; thinks system wide regarding processes and functions.

Requirements
What you’ll need- One year certificate from college or technical school; or a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Bachelor of Science degree in a related field is preferred.
- Three to five years of Supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of internet software, payroll systems, spreadsheet software, billing and patient appointment software and word processing software to include Word, Excel and Power Point.
