About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform specialized nuclear medicine imaging procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Prepare and educate patients, administer radioactive medications
Operate advanced imaging equipment and ensure radiation safety standards are followed
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver patient care
Provide instruction to obtain desired results, gain cooperation and minimize patient anxiety
Document all information pertinent to nuclear medicine procedure in electronic medical record
Order radiopharmaceutical through vendor specific protocol

Requirements

What you’ll need

Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program
Minimum One (1) to Three (3) years experience preferred but will consider new graduates
CNMT or ARRT(N) required
IEMA-DNS Nuclear Medicine accreditation required if working in Illinois
Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of hire
Passing the Driver’s License Check and/or Credit Check for those positions requiring
Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or IL Health Care Workers Background Check
Must be able to follow written/oral instructions
