About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide occupational therapy services that help patients improve daily function, mobility, and quality of life through individualized treatment plans and therapeutic techniques.
- Work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to support patient progress, maintain accurate documentation, mentor team members, and contribute to quality improvement and patient care initiatives.
- Integrate subjective and objective data to establish a treatment plan.
- Utilize exercise, physical agents, and manual techniques to address deficits.
- Maintain a thorough record of services provided with appropriate coding and billing.
- Communicate with other disciplines and referring providers to enhance outcomes.
- Perform thorough and timely electronic documentation.
- Participate actively in the PI and CQI process.
- Assist in the orientation, training, and mentoring of new partners.
- Participate in cost-saving initiatives within the department.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- Licensed as an occupational therapist in WI, IL or both if required
- CPR/BLS required within 90 days of hire
- NBCOT upon initial licensure only, as required
