About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide occupational therapy services that help patients improve daily function, mobility, and quality of life through individualized treatment plans and therapeutic techniques.
  • Work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to support patient progress, maintain accurate documentation, mentor team members, and contribute to quality improvement and patient care initiatives.
  • Integrate subjective and objective data to establish a treatment plan.
  • Utilize exercise, physical agents, and manual techniques to address deficits.
  • Maintain a thorough record of services provided with appropriate coding and billing.
  • Communicate with other disciplines and referring providers to enhance outcomes.
  • Perform thorough and timely electronic documentation.
  • Participate actively in the PI and CQI process.
  • Assist in the orientation, training, and mentoring of new partners.
  • Participate in cost-saving initiatives within the department.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
  • Licensed as an occupational therapist in WI, IL or both if required
  • CPR/BLS required within 90 days of hire
  • NBCOT upon initial licensure only, as required
