About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer the risk management program on a day-to-day basis
- Identify, analyze, and manage potentially compensable events
- Manage and analyze risk management data
- Conduct risk management educational programs
- Perform risk assessments
- Collaborate with leadership to maintain an effective clinical risk management program
- Develop annual risk management plan
- Assist in designing risk management programs and policies
- Lead committees related to risk mitigation or improving patient safety
- Manage significant patient complaints
- Participate in quality committees and process improvement efforts
- Assist with insurance and claim management programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree
- Clinical/professional training (RN, Pharmacist, or other)
- Minimum five years’ clinical experience required
- Leadership experience preferred
- Minimum three years’ experience in risk management, patient safety or quality management required
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) within 18 months of hire preferred.
