About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, modify, debug, and evaluate programs for functional or operational areas
  • Analyze complex business problems and determine automated system solutions
  • Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost-effective systems and procedures
  • Analyze existing programs and formulate logic for new systems
  • Devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharts, code, and test/debug programs
  • Develop conversion and system implementation plans
  • Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation
  • Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards
  • Configure system settings and options
  • Plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing
  • Create system specifications to meet business requirements
  • Train users in system conversion and implementation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive experience across the full software development life cycle
  • Extensive experience applying code management principles
  • Eight (8) years of relevant technical or business work experience
  • Experience in data warehouse development using some of SQL, Oracle, Linux/UNIX, IBM DataStage (Infosphere), and/or Java (Spring)
  • Basic experience with data modeling, including entity relationship and dimensional models
  • Experience with data profiling and data analysis using SQL
  • Experience with agile project methodologies, including Agile, SCRUM, and Kanban
