About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct video visits for primary care patients presenting with acute complaints
- Assist with after-hours calls for primary care
- Assist with escalations from RNs
- Assist with in-basket management
- Provide care through visits scheduled in 15-minute slots, four per hour
- Treat patients of all ages
- Work onsite at the Mercy Virtual Care Center and from home
- Obtain and maintain licenses to treat patients across Mercy regions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant qualification
- 1–3 years of previous Advanced Practitioner experience in a Primary Care or Urgent setting is strongly preferred
- Missouri license required to start
- Licenses to treat in Arkansas, Kansas, Illinois, and Oklahoma must also be obtained
- Ability to work 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts
- Ability to work rotating holidays and weekends
- Ability to work night shifts
- Experience with or ability to use the Epic EMR
