About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Formulate and define business scope, objectives, and Epic Clinical requirements through research and fact-finding
- Perform functional analysis, requirements definition, application module configuration, and testing
- Conduct prototypes and develop functional specifications
- Perform data mapping, function mapping, and configuration and transaction/control table setup
- Analyze business processes and flows to develop solutions for business functions
- Identify and resolve gaps in business processes
- Support security/authorization setup, user documentation, data interface design, data migration, and reconciliation
- Support installation and tuning of modifications and data archiving
- Act as primary liaison between Epic Clinical teams and internal and external customer teams
- Manage relationships with internal customers and project teams
- Marshal resources to deliver Epic Clinical services supporting project deliverables
- Monitor, troubleshoot, configure, enhance, and provide advanced customer support
- Plan and execute application deployment, implementation, system integration, and testing
- Research, recommend, and design new technologies, configurations, and system enhancements
- Provide consulting advice to customers on environment capabilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
- 1–2 years of relevant technical or business work experience
- Clinical license preferred
- 1–2 years of clinical or relevant technical or business work experience preferred
- Epic Certification required within 6 months of hire
- Experience in process design, reengineering, and requirements documentation methodologies
- General understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
- General understanding of Microsoft Office products, including Visio
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in business writing
- General understanding of appropriate applications
- Ability to work in a complex technical environment
