Director – Grants Administration and Programs

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides ministry-wide leadership for all post award grant functions for private and government funding
- Develops and manages strategic dashboards and reporting tools
- Serves as the primary liaison to finance and legal departments on grant-related matters
- Initiates and cultivates corporate grant funder relationships
- Leads special strategic projects that support ministry-wide goals
- Supervises the Corporate and Sponsored Program Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in grants administration, finance, compliance, or related fields.
- Strong analytical abilities with demonstrated skill in reporting, data visualization, and financial interpretation.
- Experience collaborating with finance, government relations, and legal teams on contracts, budgets, or compliance matters.
- Effective coaching, motivating, and developing team members.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to drive results.
- Knowledge of grant regulations, nonprofit operations, and post-award processes.
- Experience in a healthcare, research, or multi-site nonprofit environment.
- Familiarity with grant management systems and CRM platforms.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Familiarity with research and government funding.
