About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for ensuring radiation therapy services are financially cleared and authorized prior to treatment initiation
  • Manages insurance verification, benefits review, preauthorization, and denials management
  • Maintaining compliance with payer regulations and Epic workflows
  • Close coordination with clinical teams, scheduling, and payers to prevent delays in patient care
  • Serves as a subject-matter resource for radiation oncology billing and authorization processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related healthcare revenue cycle, authorization, or billing experience required
  • radiation oncology experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of payer requirements, preauthorization processes, HIPAA regulations, and denial prevention strategies
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work accurately under deadlines and in high-volume or stressful environments.
