About the role
- own the next generation of our operating model and reporting
- manage and improve our FP&A processes and tools
- design and build automations in our reporting
- build and maintain sophisticated, scalable financial models
- play a critical role in reporting for executives, our board, and investors
- partner with teams across Mercury to improve internal processes
- build the foundation for Mercury's strategic initiatives
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in finance, investment banking, or consulting
- experience managing FP&A tools (Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive, etc) strongly preferred
- exceptional financial modeling abilities
- experience building in Pigment or similar tools; SQL skills are a plus
- advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to concisely explain complex problems and systems to varied audiences
- a zeal for improving processes and driving efficiencies
- ownership mindset and ability to excel in a fast-paced, remote-first culture
