About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently lead sourcing initiatives and support end-to-end indirect procurement activities
- Support intake, market research, RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, bid administration, evaluation coordination, and recommendation development
- Help internal stakeholders define business requirements, scope, service expectations, pricing structures, and supplier evaluation criteria
- Coordinate supplier communications and maintain fair, organized, well-documented sourcing files
- Analyze supplier proposals for commercial completeness, pricing competitiveness, business fit, and stakeholder alignment
- Handle complex negotiations and supplier strategy initiatives
- Support negotiation of commercial terms, pricing schedules, statements of work, renewals, and amendments
- Coordinate contract review and approvals with Legal, Finance, Information Security, Risk, and business stakeholders
- Support supplier onboarding, due diligence, documentation collection, risk reviews, and compliance reviews
- Track sourcing milestones, savings opportunities, supplier status, contract actions, and procurement metrics
- Maintain category and supplier information, sourcing templates, bid records, and procurement documentation
- Provide internal customer support on procurement processes, tools, and policies, including Coupa workflows
- Contribute to supplier performance follow-up, issue resolution, and post-award coordination
- Identify process improvement, standardization, and compliance opportunities
- Analyze procurement and spend data, support category management, track savings and cost avoidance, and develop leadership reports
- Perform other duties assigned by Procurement leadership
- Maintain regular full-time attendance of at least 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field required
- 3–5 years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, contract administration, vendor management, or related business function
- Experience with competitive bidding, proposal analysis, contract coordination, and supplier management
- Experience supporting indirect procurement or services-based sourcing preferred
- Experience with procurement systems, contract workflows, or spend reporting tools preferred
- Experience supporting multiple commodities/categories, including professional services, IT, facilities, office services, advertising, or mobility
- Experience with supplier segmentation, sourcing templates, procurement policy enforcement, or KPI/dashboard reporting
- Foundational knowledge of sourcing, contracting, supplier evaluation, supplier relationship management, and procurement compliance
- Ability to organize and manage multiple sourcing events and deadlines
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including pricing and cost-structure analysis
- Ability to review supplier proposals, compare pricing, interpret data, identify trends, and summarize findings
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across Procurement, Legal, Finance, IT, and business teams
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
- Strong understanding of procurement and sourcing systems, including Coupa, Jaggaer, and Ariba
- Familiarity with AI tools, data visualization tools, spend analytics tools, and contract management systems
- CPSM certification is a plus
