About the role

  • Leads creation of in-depth test plans and conducts User Acceptance Testing to ensure that systems meet business requirements.
  • Communicates challenges directly to MTS.
  • Participates in the design of technology solutions based upon business needs.
  • Responsible for innovation in one or more key business functions.
  • Issues and interactions tend to be of medium to high complexity.
  • Serves as a point person for strategic planning.
  • Collaborates with management in one or more business units to align technology solutions with business strategies.
  • Leads key activities on projects within the Claims Organization.
  • Collects, analyzes, reviews, documents, prepares and communicates business needs within the Claims organization.
  • Responsible for gathering business needs and assisting in the design of solutions through direct interaction with business units and leaders.
  • Runs data queries and conducts data analysis to identify and solve business problems.
  • Delivers presentations and provides project updates to Sr. Leadership, Claims employees, and partners within the organization.
  • Creates training materials including job aids, process flow, etc.
  • Provides training when necessary to all levels of the organization.
  • Regular attendance at work on a full-time schedule of at least 8 hours and 40 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field is desired.
  • At least 5 years of relevant claims experience
  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
