About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a strategic thought partner to the Chief Commercial Officer, Vice President of Content, and other executives, contributing to long-term planning, process innovation, and cross-functional alignment.
- Oversee venue sourcing, vendor negotiations, contract execution, and event logistics including catering, AV, transportation, and setup/teardown either on your own or in partnership with our third party event management company.
- Partner with the marketing team to ensure seamless execution of invitations, presentations, signage, and branded collateral.
- Help manage on-site operations, including setup, troubleshooting, and post-event wrap-up.
- Own post-event analytics, including survey feedback, and budget reconciliation.
- Own and manage event budgets.
- Maintain and expand vendor relationships, including a centralized database of preferred venues and suppliers.
- Anticipate needs, proactively resolve challenges, and ensure frictionless execution.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6–8+ years of experience in marketing operations, large corporate event management, or project management, ideally in a multi-market or national capacity.
- Proven experience managing complex, high-stakes projects with precision and agility.
- Deep understanding of event logistics, vendor management, and marketing workflows.
- Proficiency with event registration platforms (e.g., Cvent, EventSpark).
- Strong ability to manage multiple large initiatives simultaneously with agility and precision.
- Exceptional judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional communication, professionalism and relationship building skills.
