The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will develop and oversee reports and tools that indicate performance of key elements of the Mercer business and identify levers for improvement.
Sales & Marketing Analytics and Reporting – Develop and maintain analytics tools, dashboards, and data sources to assist firm leaders in the Sales and Marketing functions in effectively sourcing and converting new business leads.
Client Service Operational Performance – Collaborate with Head of Client Service, Chief Solutions Officer and SVP, Investment Platform Operations to deliver continuous productivity improvement and exceed client expectations.
Analyze marketing campaign performance, lead generation activity, and funnel conversion to support strategic decision making.
Implement automation to identify potential delivery challenges, enabling proactive resolution to enhance client satisfaction.
Design and maintain scalable data sources ensuring consistency, flexibility, and usability. Cleanse, tag, and structure sales data to ensure accuracy and alignment across systems.

Requirements

3 – 7 years of data analytics, statistics, and/or reporting experience
Bachelor’s degree from a selective, accredited institution required (with preference to the fields of Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or STEM disciplines)
Successful completion of analytic coursework (e.g., economics, mathematics, physical sciences)
Results-oriented with proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
Self-motivated and proactive with aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving
Exceptional and persuasive communicator and facilitator with the ability to effectively interface with executive management
Shows flexibility and adaptability in an environment with rapidly changing business and technology needs
Curiosity to learn new skills and eagerness to form new relationships
Expert level with Power BI. Proficiency with SQL, Python, Excel, PowerPoint. Salesforce experience preferred.
