About the role
- Prospect and acquire new supplier customers in the Latvian market
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closing
- Collaborate with the Customer Success team to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Report to the Regional Sales Manager as part of the Latvian Supply Sales team
- Actively prospect, engage, and build long-term relationships with customers
- Help companies navigate and succeed in public tenders
- Contribute directly to Mercell’s growth and success in Latvia
Requirements
- Proven track record in B2B sales (preferably SaaS, software, or services)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in Latvian and English
- Ability to work independently and manage own sales pipeline
- Basic understanding of procurement processes or willingness to learn quickly
- Service-minded, accountable, and positive attitude
- Self-starter; able to manage time efficiently and productively
- Calm and resilient under high pressure and tight deadlines
- Curious and eager to learn quickly
- Preferred: Previous experience in sales within public procurement, SaaS, or related field
- Preferred: Additional language skills (Russian, Lithuanian, or Estonian)
- Preferred: Strong presentation and relationship-building skills
- Preferred: A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
