About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sales advisory for distributors in Latin America, assisting them with product configuration, pricing, offers, and market analysis;
  • Monitoring orders and production schedules and actively participating in sales planning;
  • Regular visits to markets, distributors, and customers for business prospecting and commercial and technical guidance;
  • Analysis of technical/commercial tender documents and competitive bids;
  • Monitor and perform market and competitor analyses and identify market niches with purchase potential;
  • Accompany distributors and customers on factory visits and events;
  • Propose innovations to increase market share, aiming to offer the best product with maximum profitability;
  • Represent Daimler Latina at events, seminars, and client meetings;
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly attainment of targets, sales volumes, and production;
  • Define quantitative and qualitative targets together with distributors.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in business, communications, or engineering);
  • Advanced English;
  • Experience in the automotive industry, especially in commercial vehicles (does not need to be Mercedes);
  • Field experience working with distributors, dealers, and/or customers;
  • Basic Spanish.
  • Advanced Spanish;
  • Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Power BI;
  • Ability to interpret performance indicators.
