About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical guidance and training to the global distributor network, acting as the interface between them and corporate departments on matters related to sales and after-sales processes;
  • Coordinate technical and commercial solutions with the local Engineering team and HQ;
  • Support distributors and regional teams in managing vehicle downtime during breakdowns and provide assistance to improve vehicle uptime;
  • Manage warranties and technical failures in the field;
  • Occasionally act as a 'Flying Doctor' to address complex failures;
  • Promote the development and implementation of commercial parts and service management to meet dealership needs and ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Manage backorders and obsolescence;
  • Support commercial campaigns;
  • Assist in negotiations for special parts pricing;
  • Manage Parts and Services KPIs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field;
  • Advanced English: able to understand complex texts and communicate fluently, spontaneously and accurately in formal and informal contexts, with command of nuances, idiomatic expressions, and complex grammar; communicates naturally and effectively;
  • Deep knowledge of buses and trucks products, including their main technical systems;
  • Diagnostic and failure-resolution strategies, including experience handling complex issues and breakdowns;
  • Strong command of primary vehicle systems, including:
  • · Internal combustion engines
  • · Manual and automatic transmissions
  • · Rear axles and suspension systems
  • · Onboard electronics
  • Hands-on experience in after-sales processes, workshops, and dealerships, with ability for critical analysis and technical decision-making;
  • Analysis and interpretation of telemetry data for vehicle diagnostics and performance;
  • Knowledge of the truck and bus market.
