About the role
- Your mission is to act as a strategic retail specialist, helping clients see that the true value of a supermarket isn’t only on the shelves but in the data about who buys. As a Mid-level Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting deep diagnostics and challenging the retail status quo, demonstrating how our Artificial Intelligence predicts behaviors and prevents customer churn, among many other capabilities.
- Convert Leads into Partners: You will take over from the Pre-sales team and lead strategic meetings to close new contracts and generate recurring revenue (NMRR).
- Act as a Strategic Consultant: No product pushing—you will dive into retailers’ needs and design tailored proposals that address real pain points.
- Master Complex Negotiations: From first contact to final agreement, you will orchestrate high-level negotiations using psychological triggers and techniques such as SPIN and BANT.
- Manage Your Sales Funnel: You will have full control of your sales cycle in the CRM, ensuring the process is agile, efficient, and conversion-focused.
- Hit Targets and Celebrate Wins: Tracking is constant—you will monitor daily, monthly, and quarterly goals with a strong focus on overachievement.
- Collaborate with the Ecosystem: You will work closely with other areas of Mercafácil to ensure the solution delivered to the client is integrated and backed by top-tier support.
Requirements
- You live and breathe the SaaS world: Previous experience selling software and understanding subscription/recurring business dynamics and customer success.
- Results are your fuel: You don't just complete tasks—you are driven by daily, monthly, and quarterly targets (and you love exceeding them).
- Your “utility belt” is full of techniques: You master methodologies such as SPIN, GPCT, and BANT, and you know exactly when to use each mental trigger to advance a negotiation.

- Retail is not a mystery to you: You understand (or are eager to learn) the challenges and strategies that make retailers thrive.
