About the role

  • Act as a strategic bridge between Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, ensuring each Mercafacil solution is well positioned in the market, understood by customers, and monetized efficiently.
  • Deeply map the food retail sector and its purchasing behavior to translate insights into positioning strategies.
  • Lead product and feature launches to ensure real adoption and business impact.
  • Create alignment across squads (product, sales, CS, and marketing) on positioning, ICP, messaging, and differentiators.
  • Increase activation, usage, and retention rates of Mercafacil products through content, customer journeys, and narratives.
  • Develop sales enablement materials and commercial arguments that strengthen the value proposition and shorten the sales cycle.
  • Measure the impact of Product Marketing initiatives on adoption, activation, revenue, and retention.
  • Build and maintain product and feature positioning, including ICP, personas, key messages, and differentiators.
  • Develop and operationalize Go-to-Market strategies for launches (planning → execution → measurement).
  • Create sales support materials (pitch decks, battle cards, datasheets, one-pagers).
  • Monitor adoption and usage metrics for products, proposing actions to improve activation.
  • Conduct market research and analyses of competitors, consumer behavior, and trends in the food retail sector.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on acquisition campaigns aligned with product strategy.
  • Collect customer feedback and consolidate insights for PMs and GPMs.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of GTM frameworks (launch levels, incremental launches, adoption strategy).
  • Experience with discovery processes and feedback loops with Product and CS teams.
  • Understanding of the commercial funnel and customer journey (acquisition → activation → retention).
  • Experience creating sales enablement materials (pitches, decks, comparisons, scripts).
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to produce clear, compelling content.
  • Experience with CRM and customer analytics platforms (Mercafacil, GA4, RD/HubSpot, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with communication and messaging methodologies (Value Proposition Design, Jobs to Be Done, Storytelling).
