About the role

  • Lead the development of advanced microservices using Node.js, Golang, GraphQL, and TypeScript
  • Design and optimize complex SQL and NoSQL queries using advanced techniques
  • Define and lead backend architecture, making strategic decisions and guiding the team toward optimal system structure and organization
  • Manage and improve CI/CD processes and cloud integrations, optimizing the deployment pipeline
  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies, including performance, security, and automated testing
  • Coach and mentor junior and mid-level developers, sharing knowledge and promoting software development and engineering best practices
  • Explore, evaluate, and incorporate new technologies, tools, and methodologies, leading technical and strategic innovation for the company's backend

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and Golang
  • Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Federation (or similar)
  • Experience with gRPC
  • Experience with Apache Kafka
  • Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
  • Understanding of all aspects of design and a holistic view of backend architecture
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud services and concepts
  • Understanding of deployment processes and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns
