Working under minimal supervision, responsible for managing the successful implementation of Merge Healthcare Imaging solutions from initiation, planning and execution, through Go-Live and transition to service and support.
Own the project and act as the point of contact for the project during deployment process.
Coordinate resources and ensure both external and internal customer needs are satisfied with successful completion of project deliverables.
Manage knowledge transfer from Sales to Implementation team and from Implementation team to Support.
Create/maintain a project plan and project scope documentation.
Identify, document, quantify, communicate and mitigate project risks and escalate as required.
Establish a clear communication plan with customer and internal project team members including regular conference calls and documented status updates.
Attend and assist with customer Go-Live and subsequent transition to Service and Support.

Requirements

Minimum BA, BS, BSc or MBA degree or comparable job experience in medical imaging or healthcare IT systems
8 years experience as a demonstrated project manager with oversight for large-scale or multiple time sensitive projects
Strong knowledge of appropriate clinical service line (i.e., Cardiology, Radiology, Oncology, etc.) workflow and business drivers.
Preferred professional certifications: PMP or equivalent
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and Microsoft Project.
General IT knowledgeable with respect to network, security, PC management, redundancy/backup systems, web deployment and general hardware configuration and scalability.
