About the role

  • Partner with sales representatives to develop and execute effective selling strategies for each opportunity.
  • Document customers’ goals, objectives, opportunities, problems, and obstacles, linking them back to Merge solution unique business values (UBVs).
  • Provide workflow analysis of the current state and demonstrate how Merge solutions can improve existing workflows.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape of each deal to properly position Merge’s UBVs and differentiators.
  • Develop proposed solutions that address prospect-specific clinical, business, and technology issues.
  • Perform tailored onsite product demonstrations and presentations to clinical end-users, IT staff, business analysts, and executives.
  • Answer technical questions about product applications and new features to prospects and various groups within new and existing customer accounts.
  • Gather ongoing prospect-customer feedback and related information, providing feedback to product management.
  • Assist in staging and staffing industry trade shows.
  • Pursue a program of self-development through selected reading, seminars, and participation in continuing education.
  • Identify and communicate possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales, technical consulting, or similar role.
  • 1+ year experience providing application-network support and explaining technology to customers and sales prospects or providing internal support to company employees.
  • Proven track record of success in supporting sales of complex medical imaging solutions.
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT environments, including HL7 interfaces, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Experience with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and DICOM standards.
  • Experience with cloud hosting, networking, and cybersecurity as it pertains to medical imaging solutions.
