About the role
- Drive new client acquisition and revenue growth across health plans and government entities.
- Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—grounded in client needs and market insights.
- Develop and execute targeted go-to-market strategies for payer and government segments.
- Build trusted relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders across client organizations.
- Collaborate with marketing, solution consulting, and delivery teams to ensure seamless client transitions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to inform proactive outreach and competitive positioning.
- Consistently exceed sales quotas and maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline metrics.
Requirements
- 8+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably within health plan, payer, or public sector markets.
- Proven track record of exceeding new business targets in complex, consultative environments.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
- In-depth understanding of payer and government procurement processes.
- Ability to communicate value through insight-driven storytelling.
- Strong business acumen, with experience managing pipeline, forecasts, and deal structures.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications a plus.
