About the role
- Lead the newly established OPEX Management team, currently consisting of 3 employees
- Develop, implement and oversee holistic Operational Excellence strategies
- Analyze and optimize existing processes to identify improvement potential across the entire value chain
- Plan, execute and take responsibility for Lean, Six Sigma, CI and Kaizen initiatives as well as project management
- Establish and facilitate continuous improvement programs (CIP)
- Train, coach and empower managers and employees in OPEX methodologies
- KPI tracking, performance analysis and preparation of relevant reports
- Lead interdisciplinary projects to increase efficiency and reduce costs, including investment projects at the Kevelaer site
Requirements
- Strong, practical expertise in Operational Excellence
- Several years of relevant professional experience in an industrial environment, ideally with exposure to the food and animal feed industry
- Proven track record in Operational Excellence, process optimization and Lean Management
- Ideally Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certifications
- Analytical skills and a structured way of working
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities to motivate teams and actively drive change processes
