About the role
- Responsibility for revenue development in the South-East sales territory
- Build and maintain business relationships and identify market potential
- Expand and deepen a cross-departmental network of contacts at strategic and prospective customers
- Acquire customer-specific project inquiries
- Provide technical customer consultation on the use of standardized catalogue products
- Act as coordination point/interface to the customer during proposal preparation by the inside sales team
- Systematically follow up on customer-specific and standardized quotations
- Identify product trends in the market for new innovations and submit proposals for new products
- Win new customers for the entire product portfolio
Requirements
- Completed technical degree or comparable qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
- Sales experience (at least 1–2 years) with technically complex products, ideally in LED-based solutions for ambient and functional lighting as well as modern control and display elements for front panels
- Goal-oriented and reliable personality who ambitiously pursues set targets and actively contributes and implements ideas in the further development and support of key accounts
- Strong moderation, presentation and project management experience
- Negotiation skills, customer- and solution-orientation, and empathy
- Confident use of Microsoft Office applications
- Work based at the headquarters in Erkrath
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight
- Driver’s license (car)
