About the role

  • Support the Head of Quality Assurance in the technical and disciplinary leadership of employees at the Erkrath site
  • Lead the QA complaints management team, including preparation of 8D reports and deriving and implementing appropriate corrective and containment actions following root-cause analysis
  • Assist in preparing, conducting and supporting customer, product and internal audits (Automotive and Non-Automotive)
  • Support audits of plants and suppliers in coordination with the Quality Management Representative (QMB)
  • Assist in the review of QSVs and maintain active communication with customers and suppliers
  • Participate in the administration, maintenance and further development of the CAQ system
  • Technical leadership of the QA sub-departments for inspection planning and test-equipment management at the Erkrath site
  • Monitor EMPBs according to VDA or customer-specific requirements (organization)
  • Conduct training for employees

Requirements

  • Degree in a technical or engineering discipline
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience in quality management (ideally in the automotive industry)
  • Knowledge of certification to DIN ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and OEM-specific requirements (CSRs)
  • Solid methodological knowledge of common Automotive core tools according to VDA
  • Experience applying FMEA methodology and knowledge of metrology for quality-assuring serial inspections
  • Strong problem-solving skills, team orientation, social skills, and strong communication and assertiveness even in difficult negotiation situations
  • Excellent spoken and written German and English skills
