Senior Process Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement manufacturing processes, equipment and plants (pilot to fully operational) to achieve production goals.
- Cradle to grave processing support for New Product Development and legacy tooling support at the plant level.
- Develop and improve manufacturing methods consistent with the principles of scientific mold and process control.
- Manage plant, equipment, and process improvement projects, as assigned.
- Develops others’ comprehension on solving complex issues.
- Collaborate with operations, technical and hourly personnel to optimize processes.
- Manage the process to optimize press cycle time and consistency.
- Assist in the development and manufacture of new tools to minimize ‘time to market’ while maximizing cost effectiveness.
- Participate in the selection of processes and mold design considerations for new products.
- Lead various scrap improvement activities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in related Engineering field (experience to be considered in lieu of education).
- RJG Training Certification - Master Molder I & II or AIM Molding 3.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
- High level of personal accountability and skill at holding others accountable to their commitments.
