About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide high quality medical nutrition therapy to patients and clients
Assess nutritional needs, provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education
Collaborate on a multi-disciplinary team as a resource to physician staff and others
Participate in community service by providing nutrition education to groups or individuals
Provide virtual nutrition counseling sessions to pediatric patients at the Wellness Clinic.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Food & Nutrition or related area
Master's required if registration was obtained after Jan 1, 2024
Must be registered with the ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration
Licensed with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
CPR Certification (Heart Saver only) from either American Red Cross or American Heart Association or obtained within six (6) months of hire
Completion of a qualified professional experience required for the registered dietitian exam administered by the ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration
Must have the ability to interact positively with many types of people
Effective oral and written communication skills.
