About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for advancing the functionality and operational efficiency of Information Systems utilizing their expertise in Epic Applications
Ensuring integration of technology into effective workflow and process design
Providing advanced ongoing analysis, consultation, complex problem-solving, collaboration and application support to users
Supporting and optimizing Epic Deficiency Tracking and Epic Identity applications with a strong focus on data integrity, workflow support, and system functionality within a complex healthcare environment
Partnering closely with HIM and operational teams to support physician documentation compliance, record integrity, and Epic build enhancements while troubleshooting complex issues, identifying workflow gaps, and ensuring accurate system performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associates degree, preferred
Epic Deficiency Tracking, Epic Identity
Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in a large, corporate systems development and implementation activities in a wide variety of Healthcare Information Systems (MIS) or similar experience in system analysis, design, building, testing and implementation or a combination of MIS and working knowledge of hospital operations required
Previous Epic or other Health Information Systems experience required
Experience in supporting complex problems
Experience in assisting other Analysts
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Epic application support, development tools and methodologies
Good analytical skills and technical aptitude
Good planning and organizational skills
Good communication, collaboration and customer service skills
