About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leading multiple reviews/audits of healthcare coding, billing, documentation, operations, and related risk areas
- Developing methods and strategies for monitoring and evaluating the integrity of organization processes
- Leading Corporate Compliance risk assessment processes and activities
- Preparing detailed written reports and presentations for executive leadership
- Conducting compliance investigations and special reviews
- Researching, interpreting, and advising on regulations issued by government agencies
- Promoting individual professional growth and development
- Ensuring safe care to patients, staff, and visitors
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 7 years auditing experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's in healthcare-related field preferred
- Certification in coding or healthcare compliance
- Seven (7) years of relevant experience in compliance, auditing, healthcare coding or billing
- Two (2) years of experience in the healthcare industry preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare coding principles and standards
- Strong project management and organization skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex regulations, rules, and requirements
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
