Responsible for reviewing clinical documentation and diagnostic results to extract data and apply ICD-10-CM/CPT4 codes
Accurately code conditions and procedures as per ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines
Follow coding compliance policies and adhere to official coding guidelines
Provide compassionate and personalized experiences to patients and colleagues

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED required, Associate Degree in medical area preferred
One (1) year outpatient coding experience required, six (6) months of HCC experience preferred
Ability to code multi-specialties for physicians including E&M Levels
Effective oral and written communication skills
