About the role
- Assesses patients and develops treatment plans
- Provides direct patient care and documents findings
- Assists Level III physical therapists with program development
- Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
- Trains and guides students and interns
Requirements
- Bachelors or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university
- Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas
- Current Certification in Basic Life Support
- At least two (2) years clinical experience required or completion of an accredited residency program
- The position requires occasional/frequent lifting of up to 75/100 pounds
- Fine hand dexterity, eye-hand coordination, ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Visual ability to monitor instruments, computers and equipment.
