About the role
- Responsible for performing various financial planning and analysis activities, specifically related to reimbursement issues
- Contributes to system-level net revenue reporting, with specific focus on ensuring data content accuracy and developing impactful analytics
- Supports monthly financial close process with specific focus on ensuring data content accuracy, preparing trend models, researching rate variance explanations and communicating findings
- Journal entry preparation and reconciliation is required
- Analyzes and interprets financial data, converting it into information that can be used by management for decision making
- Contributes to the development of accounting reserve methodologies
- Seeks to understand the relationships and dependencies from all aspects of the revenue cycle and reimbursement sources on the net revenue performance
- Contributes to cross-departmental projects and net revenue software implementations
- Liaises with departments across the organization
- Active in the Crowe RCA user community
- Remains informed of government and commercial reimbursement and regulatory changes
- Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff

Requirements
- Bachelor Degree (preferred concentration in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics)
- Minimum four (4) to seven (7) years of work experience
- Net Revenue experience in healthcare highly preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Must be a self starter
- Experience with Kodiak (Crowe RCA) highly preferred
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Skills must include analytical capabilities sufficient for preparing revenue schedules
- Knowledge of reimbursement structures from commercial and government payors preferred
- Experience retrieving data from various systems such as Excel, Lawson, EPSI, and Crowe RCA
