About the role
- Assess patients and develop treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Document findings and progress and provide instruction to patients and caregivers
- Assist in program development and mentor staff
- Oversee development, guidance, and training of assistants and interns
- Evaluate patient conditions and implement treatment programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university-based Physical Therapy program
- Current license to practice Physical Therapy by Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or by the Physical Therapy Compact Commission
- Current certification in Basic Life Support
- One (1) year of experience preferred
- Demonstrates ability and willingness to mentor/train staff or supervise clinical interns/students
- Provides clinical leadership and demonstrates increasing expertise for a particular patient type/group
