Requirements

What you’ll need
  • New graduate nurse eligible for the December 2026 cohort
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher in an accredited nursing program
  • Completion of a nursing degree from an accredited program
  • BSN preferred
  • Current Texas RN license or temporary permit
  • BLS Certification from American Heart Association
  • External applicants require a BSN except for Northeast, Sugar Land, Southeast, and Pearland locations, where ADN applicants are accepted
  • Internal ADN and BSN candidate applications at participating Memorial Hermann campuses will be considered
  • Applicants must specify a unit of choice from the listed specialties for their selected location
  • Current resume required upon application
  • Letters of recommendation optional
  • Cover letter optional
