About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Investment Office staff responsible for Public Equities, Hedge Funds, and Fixed Income fund manager allocations
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative fund manager due diligence
- Underwrite investment strategies and fund managers
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Produce investment committee materials
- Perform ongoing internal reporting, including Investment Committee reporting
- Review and ensure compliance with the Investment Policy Statement
- Monitor investment performance and recommend manager selections
- Develop and manage the internal performance monitoring system
- Develop, implement, and evaluate asset allocation strategies to meet or exceed financial goals
- Partner with HR on Defined Contribution plan fund alternatives and manager selections
- Supervise Investment Analysts and Summer Interns
- Oversee account management and operational processes
- Evaluate Investment Consultant performance and advise on optimal Consultant structure
- Ensure safe, compassionate, personalized, and efficient care experiences while adhering to organizational policies and standards
- Support professional development, department goals, mentoring, and other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Three (3) to seven (7) years of experience in financial asset management; institutional experience preferred
- Experience in the non-profit investment management space preferred, such as universities, endowments, or healthcare
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Organized, with strong attention to detail and ability to work with diverse teams
- Ability to communicate with and present to C-suite management and the Investment Committee of the Board
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and initiative skills
