About the role
- Help ensuring the internal KPI impact of the deals are accurate.
- Partner closely with Commercial teams to support deal structuring, pricing, and commercial strategy throughout the sales and renewal cycle.
- Review deal economics, contract terms, billing structures, and operational requirements to ensure deals are scalable, compliant, and executable.
- Support contract negotiations by reviewing commercial terms, identifying risks, and coordinating with Legal, Accounting, Tax and Product teams as needed.
- Manage and support deal approval workflows, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal policies.
- Identify opportunities to streamline Deal Desk workflows and improve scalability as the business grows.
- Help document, maintain, and evolve business rules, pricing guidelines, and approval frameworks.
- Proactively work with Sales and RevOps to improve sales efficiency while balancing speed, risk, and governance.
- Operate confidently within Salesforce (or a comparable enterprise CRM) and related commercial systems to manage deal data and workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Legal, Sales Operations, and Revenue Operations to resolve issues and align on best practices.
- Uphold Meltwater’s policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all commercial activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (Business Administration, Finance, Economics preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Implementation, Commercial Operations, or a related function.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or a major enterprise CRM is required; experience supporting complex deal workflows strongly preferred.
- Prior experience supporting sales administration, contract review, deal negotiations, or commercial terms is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in B2B SaaS or a subscription-based business model is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with CPQ, NetSuite, Jira, or similar systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage confidently with Sales and senior stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) required.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and timelines.
