About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, test, and operate scalable backend services that power MelodyArc's orchestration and workflow capabilities.
Partner with the CTO to run, improve, and standardize the code review process.
Review designs and code for peers and mentor engineers.
Lead the technical delivery of multi-sprint initiatives.
Drive system design for reliability, performance, and scalability.
Build secure, compliant solutions aligned to SOC 2 practices.
Own production readiness and participate in incident response.
Partner closely with Product, DevOps, and customer stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience, including hands-on development with NodeJS and TypeScript.
4+ years of experience in the design and architecture of new and existing systems.
Demonstrable experience leading technical projects.
Experience operating production services.
Experience designing secure systems aligned with SOC 2 Type II or similar compliance frameworks.
