About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, test, and operate scalable backend services that power MelodyArc's orchestration and workflow capabilities.
- Partner with the CTO to run, improve, and standardize the code review process.
- Review designs and code for peers and mentor engineers.
- Lead the technical delivery of multi-sprint initiatives.
- Drive system design for reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Build secure, compliant solutions aligned to SOC 2 practices.
- Own production readiness and participate in incident response.
- Partner closely with Product, DevOps, and customer stakeholders.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience, including hands-on development with NodeJS and TypeScript.
- 4+ years of experience in the design and architecture of new and existing systems.
- Demonstrable experience leading technical projects.
- Experience operating production services.
- Experience designing secure systems aligned with SOC 2 Type II or similar compliance frameworks.
