About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support fast-paced pre-sale and post-sale activities that contribute to the development and implementation of complex technical products in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to help develop customer-driven solutions.
- Contribute to proposal development and feasibility assessments.
- Support project execution activities.
- Learn to evaluate design trade-offs and assist senior engineers in developing technically sound solutions through internal and external collaboration.
- Aid in the evaluation of suppliers for the development of solutions by gathering information, reviewing technical materials, and coordinating with senior engineers.
- Assist in maintaining positive working relationships through clear, professional communication.
- Assist in gathering and organizing customer requirements.
- Begin reviewing User Requirement Specifications (URS) and building Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) in collaboration with customers, suppliers, and senior engineers when applicable.
- Support fast-paced feasibility evaluations by assisting with test setups, gathering input data, and helping senior engineers assess early-stage ideas and customizations.
- Recognize key technical constraints and contribute to quick go/no-go decisions.
- Participate in the proposal development by assisting with the interpretation of customer requests, gathering input from technical teams, assembling proposal content under guidance, and reviewing quotations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, or Manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to manage personal tasks and deadlines in a structured, fast-paced environment.
- Exhibited mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn how mechanical components and systems function within complex assemblies.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with CAD software and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project is preferred.
