About the role
- Validates order and shipping documents for review.
- Retail Customer Service – timely and effective communication to FF sales staff and clients.
- Communicates consistently with the transportation department to track shipments and shortages.
- Verifies export files and/or research in Main Frame computer system to ensure system matches shipped orders.
- Assists with claims and researching POD’s and any additional documentation.
- Supports several order entry positions.
- Covers the Front desk during absence and lunch breaks.
- Cross-train in other positions within the department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A High School diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts beyond addition and subtraction.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to establish priorities and work independently with minimal guidance.
- Knowledge of most commonly used business systems and software applications in addition to Windows Office and how these systems relate to business processes.
