About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive organic growth strategy to position Meet5 internationally as the leading platform for making new connections.
  • Scale our organic presence across multiple markets and languages, ensuring we rank for high-intent local and interest-based keywords.
  • Manage the roadmap for scalable, high-quality content that builds topical authority within the leisure activities niche.
  • Collaborate closely with our community teams to localize the content you create, ensuring our assets not only rank but also resonate with our target audience.
  • Ensure Meet5 is prominently cited and recommended by AI-driven discovery platforms by optimizing for LLM-driven discovery and brand mentions.
  • Oversee the technical health of our web presence by managing crawlability, indexing, site architecture, and structured data.
  • Improve the Meet5 web experience, including transforming UGC activities into long-tail event pages.
  • Track organic performance metrics, monitor keyword rankings, and analyze competitor activity. Derive concrete recommendations from search data.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of SEO experience: proven track record in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO across multiple markets and languages.
  • Able to design scalable SEO and content strategies and also execute them hands-on.
  • Experience with consumer apps, mobile products, or marketplace platforms is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven optimization methods and an understanding of how to optimize for emerging discovery channels such as LLM-powered search and generative engines.
  • Full ownership of organic growth metrics such as rankings, traffic, and conversions.
  • Comfortable designing and running SEO experiments, including A/B tests, and continuously exploring new trends in search and AI-driven discovery.
  • Proactive communicator who works closely with product, development, and creative teams.
  • English at C1 level or higher; German skills are a strong advantage.
