About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The COO is the integrator and translator of our strategic vision into daily practice.

- Bring together and align multiple stakeholders with varying perspectives, and goals into a cohesive operation that maximizes our impact on the organizations and communities we serve.
- Lead the business functions and is responsible for providing operational leadership, management and coordination across departments and identifies opportunities to enhance the access and care provided to members across programs.
- Optimize growth, mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and maximize profitability.
- Build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
- Motivate a multi-disciplinary team with a common goal of delivering extraordinary care to our members.
- Instill a culture that takes pride in providing extraordinary care to our members that results in reduced ED and inpatient utilization.
- Analyze financial and operating reports, forecast future performance, and make data-driven operational decisions that maximize top line growth and profitability while leading with the delivery of extraordinary member care.
- Work with other members of senior leadership, instill product management discipline linking contracts, financial modeling, data management, operating software, internal metrics and external reporting.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of successful executive healthcare leadership experience, with at least 5 specifically in the managed care/value-based care industries serving Medicaid and dual eligible members.
- Multi-market oversight of remote careforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in health-related industry, business administration or finance (Master’s degree preferred).
- Possess a deep understanding of healthcare financial management, budgeting, and cost containment.
- Demonstrated success improving revenue and unit economics while driving profitability and maintaining high levels of employee engagement in fast growing organizations.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of healthcare operations with emphasis on growth, forecasting, managed care and value-based care models.
- Exceptionally strong executive leadership profile with ability to effectively articulate vision and drive outcomes with a focus on collaboration and transparency and the ability to lead, develop, motivate and direct others to maximize efficiency and effectiveness while juggling competing priorities.
- Passion for operational excellence and enhancing operational workflows via technology solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and scale culturally diverse operating teams.
- Exceptional communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to influence C-level leaders, teams, and external partners.
- Passion for rolling up sleeves and getting stuff done.
- Strategic thinker with curious nature and relentless drive that increases enterprise value.
- Bi-lingual English-Spanish preferred.
