About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and execute research studies to evaluate biological, physiological, or engineering questions related to product development initiatives
Develop and implement experimental protocols, test methods, and data analysis approaches to support technical decision-making
Lead technical investigation and troubleshooting activities to identify root causes and resolve complex product or research challenges
Collaborate with engineering, clinical, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing partners throughout the product lifecycle
Analyze and interpret experimental data and communicate findings through technical reports, presentations, and design documentation
Support development, verification, and optimization of products, processes, and technologies from concept through commercialization
Contribute technical expertise to research and development programs, including preclinical studies, clinical evaluations, or product performance assessments
Translate research discoveries and technical findings into practical product solutions addressing unmet clinical needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant research and development experience, OR Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant research and development experience, OR PhD in a scientific or engineering discipline
Experience designing, executing, and analyzing scientific or engineering studies in a research and development environment
Experience generating technical documentation, reports, and data-driven recommendations to support product development decisions
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance research, product development, or technology initiatives
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
Roles below the Principal level require candidates to possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
