About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and execute research studies to evaluate biological, physiological, or engineering questions related to product development initiatives
- Develop and implement experimental protocols, test methods, and data analysis approaches to support technical decision-making
- Lead technical investigation and troubleshooting activities to identify root causes and resolve complex product or research challenges
- Collaborate with engineering, clinical, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing partners throughout the product lifecycle
- Analyze and interpret experimental data and communicate findings through technical reports, presentations, and design documentation
- Support development, verification, and optimization of products, processes, and technologies from concept through commercialization
- Contribute technical expertise to research and development programs, including preclinical studies, clinical evaluations, or product performance assessments
- Translate research discoveries and technical findings into practical product solutions addressing unmet clinical needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant research and development experience, OR Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant research and development experience, OR PhD in a scientific or engineering discipline
- Experience designing, executing, and analyzing scientific or engineering studies in a research and development environment
- Experience generating technical documentation, reports, and data-driven recommendations to support product development decisions
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance research, product development, or technology initiatives
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
- Roles below the Principal level require candidates to possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
