About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with field sales and clinical teams to execute sales activities
- Lead in-service activities and support expansion and growth within the Sedation Management business
- Manage individual quota responsibility while supporting assigned sales representatives
- Enable more selling time through sales activities and support within key customer accounts
- Assist or lead in-service activities for disposables and/or hardware
- Install necessary equipment/hardware and perform functional and safety tests
- Introduce products and collaborate with customers
- Drive expansion of Acute Care and Monitoring products within the territory
- Coordinate with sales teams and internal stakeholders
- Focus on customer satisfaction and increased utilization
- Support conversions and sales efforts outside the region as needed
- Conduct product introductions and demonstrations for staff and clinicians
- Perform inventory balancing at site and/or warehouse level
- Travel 75% across a multi-state region, including significant overnight travel and non-traditional hours
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or Associate’s degree with 2 years, or Bachelor’s degree with 0 years, in sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
- Must live or be able to relocate within 50 miles of the territory
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ previous field sales experience preferred
- Prior medical device, business to business or pharmaceutical sales experience highly preferred
- Knowledge of sales techniques
- Introductory knowledge of company products and services
- Demonstrable, consistent success in previous roles
- Strong customer focus
- Understanding of vendor, distributor, hospital supply chain management
- Willingness to travel to support conversions for extended periods
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective persuasion skills
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required at hire and throughout employment
