About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and administer company employee benefits, wellness, compensation, and incentive programs
- Control or support job evaluation and wage and salary administration programs
- Monitor employee benefits trends and recommend benefit plan improvements
- Prepare and deliver employee communication and training programs
- Prepare and support salary recommendations for new hires and promotions
- Support development, communication, and administration of sales incentive plans
- Champion the Recognize! global recognition program in Canada and manage local recognition programs
- Conduct compensation surveys and labour-market studies
- Analyze jobs and review job descriptions and specifications
- Apply job evaluation techniques to establish equitable compensation rates
- Support and advise management and HR on compensation, benefits, company philosophy, budgets, markets, and regulations
- Support Canadian pay equity requirements and update salary ranges annually
- Develop communication strategies and tools for Total Rewards programs
- Participate in projects improving and advancing Total Rewards and recognition programs and processes
- Ensure compliance with pay equity regulations by province
