About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute US Aortic field inventory strategies and initiatives to achieve service, inventory, scrap, obsolescence, gains and losses, and freight goals
- Serve as the primary district liaison for inventory-related activities across field teams, customers, and internal partners
- Proactively resolve inventory challenges and optimize product availability
- Lead inventory redeployment, emergent case support, field order fulfillment, short-dated inventory mitigation, stagnant inventory reduction, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy improvement
- Mobilize inventory during supply constraints to minimize disruption and maintain business continuity
- Drive cross-functional execution with Customer Care, Supply Chain, and Field Inventory teams
- Manage inventory health and performance across customer consignment accounts
- Conduct, reconcile, and resolve cycle counts
- Manage expired and short-dated products, returns, and replacement inventory
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Advise customers on inventory management, product handling, ordering, returns, and replenishment
- Support completion of Consignment Agreements and Inventory Schedules
- Provide on-call support during critical business events
- Engage customers and field teams through regular travel
- Adhere to FDA regulations, SOPs, training requirements, and quality standards
- Lead process improvement initiatives and communicate proactively with stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to support overnight/long-distance travel when required (25–50%)
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at time of hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not offered below Principal level
- For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)
- Problem-solving ability in complex environments
