About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on EP mapping and navigation systems and CAS products
  • Educate physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters related to CAS products and procedures
  • Promote safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures
  • Support national, regional, and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals
  • Develop and cultivate customer relationships to generate incremental business
  • Partner with Account Managers, Regional Managers, and Area Directors to identify sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with local sales teams to conduct customer training for mapping and other Cardiac Ablation Solutions products
  • Communicate and strategize with regional sales and clinical teams
  • Represent Medtronic CAS products, services, and support to physicians and support staff
  • Serve as a regional champion for mapping technology proficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma plus a minimum 8 years of healthcare work experience in an EP, Cath Lab setting, or cardiac-field sales; or associate degree plus 6 years; or bachelor's degree plus 4 years
  • Preferred B.A./B.S. degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or a technical discipline
  • Proven track record with technical training assignments
  • Experience in cardiac catheter ablation, EP lab, hospital/clinic, or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support
  • Ability to work in an environment with infectious disease and radiation exposure
  • Must reside within the assigned territory and be available there each day for unscheduled needs
  • Ability and willingness to travel outside the assigned territory and occasionally overnight
  • Ability to drive approximately 25–50% of the time within the assigned territory
  • Valid driver's license
  • Active vehicle insurance policy and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to move throughout facilities and use a phone, keyboard, mouse, and personal computers
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for 8 hours a day
  • For foreign baccalaureate degrees, degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not offered below Principal level
