About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support one or more engineering areas based on business need, candidate background, and location availability.
- Support design, development, analysis, and testing of engineering solutions during research and product development phases.
- Contribute to system integration, verification, validation, risk analysis, and data-driven evaluation efforts.
- Support safety testing, regulatory compliance, and transfer of products from development into manufacturing.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Working toward a bachelor's or master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2027, Spring 2028, Winter 2028, or Spring 2029.
- Applicants for Medtronic’s Summer Internship Program must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
- Prior experience in engineering design, testing, manufacturing, quality, data analysis, or product development through internships, academic projects, research, laboratory work, or relevant work experience.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Flexibility in geographic location.
